Here at The Legacy Apartments, we know that pets are family, and our community is happy to welcome your furry companions! To ensure a comfortable environment for everyone, we maintain a standard pet policy with a few guidelines for responsible pet ownership.
Our Pet Policy
A maximum of two pets, limited to cats and dogs, is allowed per lease.
Size restrictions, pet rent, additional application fees, and security deposits may vary by property.
Residents must complete an Animal Addendum as part of their lease to have a pet in the home.
We reserve the right to deny residency to any dog with a history of aggressive behavior or any pet that poses a risk to other animals, residents, or staff.
Breed and Species Restrictions
To help ensure safety and harmony in our community, certain breeds are not permitted. This list is not exhaustive, and any hybrid or mixed breed that includes part of these breeds may also be restricted.
Unacceptable breeds include, but are not limited to, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Presa Canarios, Akitas, Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, Karelian Bear Dogs, Pit Bulls, Chow Chows, Dobermans, Mastiffs, and Malamutes. Even if a breed is not specifically listed, a pet may still be denied based on its behavior, history, or safety concerns.
Exotic or poisonous animals are not permitted, as they can pose safety risks and are not suitable for community living.
